Clifford Redwine

Cello

Atlanta native Clifford Redwine graduated from Emory University with a BA in Music Performance for cello. While at Emory, he performed with the Emory Chamber Music Society, Emory Tango Ensemble, and Emory University Symphony Orchestra, where he sat Principal Cellist his concluding year. Clifford has played with the LaGrange Symphony, Albany Symphony, Carroll Symphony, Macon Pops, and Atlanta Pops, as well as, with artists Sarah Brightman, Il Divo, and TransSiberian Orchestra. In addition to his musical endeavors, he works on the Embellishments Team at Deljou Art Group and enjoys supporting and exploring the arts.

Daun Kwag

Violin

Daun Kwag (she/her) graduated from Emory University with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Violin Performance and English Literature. She also holds a Master of Arts degree from Boston University in Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine. While studying at Emory, Daun served as the Edward Goodwin Scruggs Principal Second Violin Chair (2014-2015), as well as the Joel M. Felner, MD Concertmaster Chair (2015-2016). She has played the violin for twenty one years, and has studied with Janice McAllister, Rosemary Hatch, Domenic Salerni, and Elizabeth Fayette. In addition to her active involvement in the Emory University Symphony Orchestra and the Emory Chamber Music Society, she has played with the Rome Symphony Orchestra and Lagrange Symphony Orchestra, and was selected to attend the Chamber Music Institute at Holy Cross in 2017. Daun is a National Certified Counselor and is currently a PhD student in the Counselor Education and Practice program at Georgia State University.

Meg Winata

Violin

A native of Houston, Texas, violinist Meg Winata graduated from Emory University with a BA in Music Performance with High Honors. During her time at Emory, she was an active member of the Emory Chamber Music Society and Emory University Symphony Orchestra. In her sophomore year, Meg served as principal second violinist in the Edward Goodwin Scruggs Chair, and held the position of concertmaster her senior year in the Joel M. Felner, MD Chair. Meg has been playing the violin for twenty two years, and continues to play in local professional orchestras. Previous teachers include Sarah Almetus, Mika Hasler, Henry Rubin, and Lisa Yancich. She is currently a second-year medical student at the Emory University School of Medicine and plans to pursue a surgical residency.

Minjee Kim

Viola

Minjee Kim first encountered the viola in a mandatory music program in elementary school when she was nine years old. She was immediately drawn to the viola and studied under the tutelage of Suzie Stewart, Adam Crane, and Yinzi Kong. She attended Emory University with a music scholarship and graduated with a double major in sociology and music performance, where she was principal violist in the Emory University Symphony Orchestra, a member of the Emory Chamber Music Society, and assisted the music department as a violist teacher’s assistant. She is now a member of the Lagrange Symphony Orchestra and was recently principal violist for their Fall 2022 opening concert, and is currently a clinical manager for a psychiatry/therapy private practice in Atlanta.
